We had a tragedy strike the Lantz household last week. Roxie began limping on Saturday morning. By Sunday she could no longer walk. Turns out, she has the dreaded back disease that strikes dachshunds. We rushed her to Iowa State and she had emergency back surgery. Thankfully, Roxie is recovering beautifully and is now starting to walk again. Roxie is a member of our family, so of course we began thinking what our lives would have been like without her. Yes, I know she's a dog, but she was our first baby.
Other than that, nothing is really new here. We've been enjoying the nice fall weather and trying to partake in the fall activities. We did go to a pumpkin patch this year, and we'll be carving our pumpkin this week. Addison is going to dress up as a lion this year. She's been practicing her roar for months now. Don't worry, I will post some pics of her in the costume. So to close, we will leave you with a few pics.
